My husband will be going to Japan to play a couple shows (musician), but we plan to go a week earlier. Because he will be arriving to eventually work, does that mean he is not eligible for a Japan Rail Pass?

Hi there,
He will be eligible, as long as his visa says "temporary visitor", any other kind of visa is not included.
