Travelling from Tokyo to Hakone with a bus tour of Mt Fuji
Want to travel the following day from Odawara station to Kyoto using the JR pass.
Is there somewhere at Odawara station to activate the pass.
Want to buy a 7 day pass and it would just cover all my travel if I activate on this day. If I activate in Tokyo on day of bus trip then I will fall a day short at end of trip.

Hi there,
You can activate the JR Pass at Odawara station. No problem!
You can also activate it before and chose a first day of use, this does not have to be the same day when you exchange the JR voucher for the JR Pass.
