There is an app JR shinkansen smartEX app, can you connect the pass there and book on the app?

Hi there,
Online seat reservations are not currently available for tickets purchased through JRPass.com. However, you can easily reserve seats once you arrive in Japan at any JR Train Station ticket office (Midori-no-madoguchi) or ticket machine.
For enquiries regarding the JR Shinkansen smartEX app, we recommend contacting JR Group directly.
