Hello, I received my pass yesterday however I see on the paper that I have to specify when I want to use my pass within a month of it being issued. I believe I inputted when I wanted to use it when I was first applying to buy it on here so would that count and I can just activate it once I get to Japan or would I have to specify the date when I get there?

Hi there,
Did you purchase through JR Pass.com or a different channel? As different rules can apply.
If you order through us, then you get 3 months to activate the pass, at time of activation you pick your starting date.
