Hi there,

Following is my itinerary (Nakasendo walk and other town visit) and I am thinking if it is worth getting JR pass if it is cheaper than buying individual rticketa, and which pass or passes combination I should get:
. Day 1 - Osaka Kansai Airport to Nakatsugawa . Day 2 - Nakatsugawa to Magome-juku . Day 3 - Nagiso to Kiso-Fukushima . Day 4 - Travel within Kiso-fukushima . Day 5 - Kiso-Fukushima to Yabuhara to Matsumoto, travel within Matsumoto . Day 6 - Matsumoto to Karuizawa . Day 7 - Around Karuizawa . Day 8 - Karuizawa to Tokyo, travel within Tokyo

Hi there,

I checked but you'd not make savings on this route, as most travel is all located in the same area. My advice would be to buy tickets as you travel.

A follow up question, for faster and efficient during my travel it is better to get suica card so that I don't have to buy ticket each time but just tap in and out from station? And does suica card covers was all the destinations in my earlier question?

Hi there,

Yes, a Suica card is always a good idea! That said, I'm not sure if the Suica card will include all your travel routes, as some are quite remote, so be sure to keep some cash handy too.
