I will be staying in Kyoto for 7 days and will be travelling to Tokyo 2 or 3 times during the week. Which regional pass should I purchase?

Hi there,
Will you be doing 3 round trips between Tokyo and Kyoto using the Shinkansen?
In that case, I highly recommend using a 7-day Japan Rail Pass. The only regional pass covering this route is the Hokuriku Arch pass, but the travel time is significantly longer and would not make sense, if you do the trip more than once.
