Hi, could you please advise what type of travel passes/tickets I should purchase for my 8 day trip:
Day 1: KIX-Osaka
Day 2: Osaka
Day 3: am-Osaka to Nara, pm-around Nara
Day 4: am-Nara, pm to Kyoto
Day 5: Kyoto
Day 6: Kyoto
Day 7: Kyoto
Day 8: Kyoto-KIX

Hi Tracy,
I would look at a Kansai Area Pass, for travel from day 1-4. It would help you make decent savings and also includes a 1-day Kyoto Subway card for free.

Thanks so much Daniel. What about the other days? Do I buy single tickets while in Kyoto? Or do I buy day passes? Also is the Kyoto Subway card valid for buses too? Can I prepay the card and have automatic deductions? I will be going to the usual tourist attractions.
Hi Daniel, I just read that there is a 2-day delivery lead time. I am leaving tomorrow on Feb 3, and arriving KIX Feb 4. Can I buy the Kansai Regional Pass at the airport?
