Hi, we will be spending 12 days in Japan in Oct/Nov.
Our itinerary is as follows: Nara to Koyasan(2 days), Koyasan to Kyoto (3 days), Kyoto to Matsumoto(2 days), Matsumoto to Kanazawa (bus via Takayama), Kanazawa to Osaka.
We are confused about the best rail pass to get - all suggestions welcome !

I checked your itinerary for the best option but could not find a pass that matches your plans, as such I recommend buying normal tickets as you travel.
