Kansai Wide vs Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass

While in Wakayama area it seems the Kansai Wide Regional Pass should cover this but not sure about the Kansai-Hiroshima covering all of Wakayama. We plan to be in the coastal areas and take the slow trains.

From Wakayama/Shirahama we go to Osaka then Osaka to Hiroshima then Hiroshima to Fukuoka from Fukuoka we are going to South Korea. Total of 11 days/10 nights in Japan

Main concern is Osaka to Hiroshima. It seems, we would need to purchase the Kansai-Hiroshima area pass to cover Osaka to Hiroshima train.

So 5 days Kansai-Hiroshima and next 5 days for the Hiroshima-Yamaguchi Regional pass.

Can anybody confirm that this is best. The Kansai Wide is cheaper than the Kansai-Hiroshima but if we have to pay separate for Osaka to Hiroshima then of course Kansai Hiroshima is better.

These regional passes seems much better also than the overall JR Rail Pass which is way too much for 14 days. 7 days is even more expensive and we are covered less days. 7 vs 10.
