Hi We are coming to Japan in January and will be travelling from Tokyo to Hakona to Kyoto and back to Tokyo. We are a family of 5 and will be staying in Japan for 13 days

Hi there,
I recommend using the 7 day Japan Rail Pass for your travels. Given that you would cover travel between Hakone - Kyoto - Tokyo with it. It would be even better if you can include any additional travel. Like to Hakone, to/from the airport and local JR lines.
