I plan to travel to Japan on June. What is the most cost effective way to travel from Tokyo to Osaka and Kyoto then back to Shinjuku Tokyo? A JRPass ordinary costs 29,110 yen for 7 days and we are 3 tourists. Thanks.

Hi there,
The 7 day JR Pass is the best option here if you plan on making the return Tokyo - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo.
The pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Osaka, now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price and any additional travel you may do is what you can save. For instance travel from the airport into Tokyo.
