Nagoya > Osaka (+ Kyoto, Nara)

Good afternoon!

We're traveling to Japan on Oct 29 until November 5, and entering Nagoya and in the area of Osaka, Kyoto, Nara for the duration of the trip. Saw that a Kintetsu Rail pass can cover most of our travel needs, but on the website, it states that the 5 day rail pass is valid only until October 31 and within 5 days of first use. Does this mean that we can use the Pass only until October 31 and not the full 5 days? Can't find any way to contact Kintetsu so that I can ask them directly about this.
