JR pass options - availability

Good morning!

We are a group of 30 people who are going to visit Japan between July 8 and July 21.
We have the following itinerary already planned:

July 7 arrival in Narita In'l. Airport - transfer to Tokio
July 8 to July 13 Stay in Tokyo
July 14 visit to Sendai
July 16 stay in Tokyo
July 17 visit to Kanazawa
July 18 visit Kioto
July 19 visit Kioto
July 20 visit Osaka and return to Tokio
July 21 transfer from TOkio to Narita Int´l Airport

I would appreciate it if based on the above itinerary you could tell me what are out best options when it comes to JR pass and others.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with the train system in Japon and I am having difficulty identifying what train line / pass would be more efficient and less expensive.
