Hello there,
Yes, I would suggest a 7 day JR Pass here. Your travel from Tokyo - Kyoto - Hiroshima - Osaka, using the Shinkansen will cost the most and you can make good savings here using the Pass. Then try to add as much side travel for even better savings.
