We are travelling to Japan in the middle of May.
May 12th: Arrival at Narita, then to Tokyo.
May 13th: Tokyo - Izukogen
May 15th: Izukogen - Tokyo
May 20th: Tokyo - Kyoto
May 21st: Kyoto - Hiroshima
May 21st: Hiroshima - Tokyo
May 24th: Tokyo - Hiroshima
Other than that we don't have plans yet. Is it smart to get a JP Railpass? Is our itinerary even possible?
Do you have suggestions?
Is the Green Cart a good choice?

Hi there,
Yes, with a trip to Kyoto to Hiroshima, you'd be making very good savings with the JR Pass. That said, your trip is possible but is is a good 6 hours of travel between Tokyo - Hiroshima so you'd be spending a good amount of time on the train. Green Class can make this a lot more comfortable.

Thank you for the quick reply :) Is there a certain time the last train would leave from Hiroshima to Tokyo? Does the JR pass work for night trains too? (if that is even a thing?)
