Hello. We visit Japan in October and plan to travel from Tokyo on a 7 day pass .
Tokyo-Hakone-Kyoto-Nara-Osaka-Himeji day trip from Osaka.
Can the pass be used on any trains buses in Hakone or Kyoto?

Hi there,
You can use the JR Pass to travel to Odawara station, the gateway to Hakone. From there, additional transport is not included in the pass.
Similar in Kyoto, JR buses and local JR lines are included but other transport such as the city bus and metro are not covered.
