Hi…we’ll plan to visit japan mid december, from nara, kanazawa, toyama, nagano & tokyo. we had calculated the fare that using JR pass or not, is almost the same price. if we don’t use JR pass, how or where can we buy the train tickets?

Hi there,
If you don't plan on purchasing a JR Pass, you'll need to purchase tickets either in person at a JR Station (Shinkansen and JR trains) or online on the Navitime site (Shinkansen).
