Travelling from Narita airport or Tokyo to Hakata
What kind of time would that take. Am I right in thinking the Sakura Shinkansen is the fastest on the JR pass

Hi there,
Yes, the Sakura and Hikari is the fastest wasy between Tokyo - Hakata. The route is quite long still, taking about 5-6 hours.
