I am traveling to Japan. First part of trip will be in Hokkaido. We will travel to asahikawa, furano, Niseko. Afterwards we will travel to Tokyo then Kyoto and Nagano.
Is the 14 day pass worth it for Hokkaido or just by 7 day for Tokyo

Yes, very likely. It will depend a little on how many days you spend in each city but a 14 day JR Pass will likely be a very cost efficient way of travel for your plan.
