I will be in Japan in April/May 2023 for the first time (I can't wait!!)
I wondered if the Hello Kitty Shinkansen is running from 4-7 May? I could not see the released schedules for May yet so I was wondering when they will be released :)

Sorry Daniel -i have found the link to book now. However, i have a question - how do you book car number 2 (is this still the hello kitty themed car?). When trying to book car number 2 is greyed out. :(

I believe cars 1-3 are Hello Kitty themed - for my last trip on this trip, I believe car 2 was where the activities take place and thus does not have any seats to be reserved.
