I would like to travel from odawara station (Hakone) back to Tokyo by shinkanshen on 26 Dec.
- Do I need to buy it one line? or I can purchase on the station before depart?
- Do I need to reserve a seat as I have 2 younger kids with me

Hi there,
You can buy the tickets at any JR station in Japan. I am afraid it is not possible to do so online.
The JR Pass also covers this route.
