Reservation of the trains - possible?

Hello Kamila,

In most cases it is not possible to reserve tickets in advance and can only do so in Japan with the JR Pass in hand (this includes the Tokaido Shinkansen between Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka) and Kyushu Shinkansen.

Some trains however can be reserved in advance, this can be done via: JR East.

I would like to know at what time and how long my trip will take (and that the train that I chose is coverd by Ordinary JAPAN RAIL PASS)

Hirosaki - Kanazawa
Kanazawa - Kyoto
Kyoto - Nara
Kyoto - osaka and Himeji
Kyoto - Mount Koya
Kyoto - Kinosaki
Kyoto - Kiso Valley

Tokyo- Nikko
Tokyo- Ashikaga Flower Park

You can reserve the trip Tokyo - Hirosaki and Hirosaki - Kanazawa with the website I linked in my previous post and you will have more than enough time in Japan to make reservations for the rest (where applicable).
