Hi Terreau,

The JR Pass will be usable for most of your plan and I am sure that you can make some good savings by visiting both Fuji and Hiroshima.

You may however have to relay on different transport companies around Fuji. This wholly depends on what region around Fuji you are staying at. You can read more information about how to get around Fuji on this page.

If i buy my pass is some one i could arrange my travel before i arrive in japan éventhough i have to pay an extra, cause i would like to book my room as we will 5 persons.

Hi again!

The JR Pass covers most of the way to Kawaguchiko although you would have to pay a small fee for the last part, which is traveled on the (non JR) Fujikyu line (1100yen / person). You can find more information on how to get to Kawaguchiko here. Basically the best thing to do is to head to Otsuki station (near Tokyo) and take the Fujikyu line from there.

You can reserve your accomodation abroad, unfortunately train tickets can only be reserved once you arrive in Japan!
