Hi there,

It would be cheaper to just buy normal tickets if you only travel one way Tokyo - Osaka, a 7 day JR Pass stars making sense if you would do a return or would make a side trip to a different city like Hiroshima.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel

I am coming back from Osaka to Narita on the 9th.

So it is good to buy the 7 day pass, right?

So if I buy 7 day pass and start using it after two days will it be ok?

I can buy normal tickets to go around Tokyo the first 2 days. Is this correct?

Jay

Hello Jay,

Yes, in that case a 7 day JR Pass would be great! Then just buy normal tickets for the first 2 days in Tokyo, or use a travel card like Suica.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Thank you

You are amazing

When do I order the cards, to travel in December?

Jayamali

Hi Jayamali,

I would do so in October or November :)

Thank you

You were so helpful

Have a wonderful day
