Our family of 4 will go from Karaksa Spring Hotel Kansai to Ici Hotel Kanda by Relief. We will be visiting Shinjuku areas only during our 2 days/3 nights trip. Should we purchase a JR pass? How do we go from Karaksa Spring Hotel Kansai to Ici Hotel Kanda by Relief with 4 big luggages because our next stop is Hong Kong.

Could you tell me what Airport you are arriving from? Is this Kansai Airport or different? Knowing this would help me find the best option.
I would take the Shinkansen from Osaka - Tokyo, this is by far the fastest way to get to Tokyo.
