Hi
Please advise can we use the JR Kanto Area Pass for the following train services:
Same day ( Saturday):
A) From Karuizawa to Tokyo taking Shinkansen Hakutaka 552 (starts 08:12)
B) Then Tokyo to Kawaguchiko taking Limited Express Narita Express 8 (starts 10:21)
We've checked the online reservation website & for the Narita Express 8 train offers only Green Car reserved seats.
Do we need to pay additional charges for Green car reserved seats?
Thanks & regards
Cheeleex2
Hi Cheeleex2,
Yes these two lines are included in the Kanto Pass.
The Kanto Pass can only be used for normal seats (not Green) you can however take a normal seat on the Narita Express.
Enjoy Japan!
