Hi , me and 3 others will visit Tokyo in September for a week .
We are thinking to go to Osaka and Kyoto as well , my question is if we buy one week train pass is it included that express bullet train as well ?! And is one week pass the best and cheapest for us?! And the other question is we are from Canada should we buy the pass online in advance and how does it work?!
Thanks!
Hi there,
The 7 day JR Pass is great if you make a return trip Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka. You can use the Hikari Shinkansen with this pass, which is a bit slower than the fastest Nozomi train (about 19minutes only).
It is cheapest to buy the Japan Rail Pass online. We will then ship it to you.
Kind regards,
Daniel
