Booking jrpass before price increase

Hello, we are planning for trip to japan arrive at 26th of December. 2023 and plan to use jr pass for 14 days on 28th of December 2023
So i wonder if we can bought jrpass on 29 or 30th of September before the price increase and activate when we arrive on 26th of Dec?
Is it possible? I read that we have 3 month windows from the date we bought ticket to activate date.

Hi there,

It looks like we may be able to do this, but note that is exactly by 1-day. This is because the issue date of your ticket is leading (this is when we print your ticket and can be different from your purchase date).

I think we can issue your tickets on the 29th, but may not be able to offer issuing on the 30th as this is a weekend day.

The best would be to place on order on JRPass.com ahead of time, then contact our support team with your request, so we can issue a note on what date to specifically issue your pass.
