My wife and I will be in Japan for a month or two this October thru November. We will be visiting family stationed there in the US airforce. We will travel for a week or so away from Tokyo at different times. Can I purchase 2 separate JRPasses that do not run back to back. For example one weeklong JRPass that might begin October 15, 2024 for each of us and then a second weeklong JRPass that might begin November 8, 2024 for each of us. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,
Yes you can purchase two separate passes! Please note that you'll need to wait until at least three months before your trip to purchase the pass, because otherwise it won't be valid. But when you exchange the passes in Japan you can select two separate activation dates.
