Hello,
We were planning on getting the 7 day travel pass and travel Tokyo to Kyoto on the 9th of March. My question is if we leave at 10am on the 9th can we return before 10am on the 16th? Or would the pass expire on the 15th?

Hi there,

The JR Pass is counted in day (not hours), and the first day is counted as a full day, no matter what time you start using the pass. For example, starting the JR Pass on a Monday will mean that the last day of travel is the following Sunday.
