dear,
We will go to Japan from 20th April till 5th of May.I just bought 3 JR Pass.
Here is my itinerary and I would like to know if all is feasible with JR pass? I also would like to understand the reservation system and if there is any specificity for Mount Fuji and Miyajima? thanks a lot.

day 1 Narita airport Tokyo -Hatchobori
Day2 Tokyo Hatchobori Mont fuji - station Kawaguchiko
Day 3 Mt Fuji Kyoto
day 6 Kyoto Nara
Day 7 Nara Himeji
Day 8 Himeji (Hiroshima)-Miyajima
Day 9 Miyajima Hiroshima

Day 10 Hiroshima Iwakuni return Hiroshima same day
day 11 Hiroshima Okayama
Day 12 Okayama Tokyo
Day 16 Tokyo Narita

Hi there,

A 14 day JR Pass would work really well! You do plenty of travel and make good savings use the Japan Rail Pass with give you good savings compared to purchasing normal tickets.

Seat reservations can only be done on Shinkansen trans and ltd express intercity trains. Both travel to Kawaguchiko and Miyajima is on local trains, so you will not have to reserve a seat on those.

I also like the added visits to Himeji and Iwakuni!
