My family and I are visiting Japan for the first time from 25 December 2017 to 3 January 2018. Hoping you can check my itinerary and confirm the pass I have chosen should be ok.
Day 1 - Arrive at Kansai in the afternoon.
Day 2 - Osaka castle, Osaka aquarium and explore Osaka
Day 3 - travel to Kyoto (day 1) and back to Osaka
Day 4 - travel to Kyoto (day 2) and back to Osaka
Day 5 - Travel to Nagano, explore the town, visit Jigokudani Monkey. Overnight stay at Yudanaka
Day 6 - skiing at Shiga Kogen
Day 7 - Mt Fuji day tour
Day 8 - Tokyo City sightseeing
Day 9 - Travel back to Osaka, explore Namba area
Day 10 - leave Kansai in the afternoon
I was thinking of purchasing a 7 day JR pass, starting it on day 3. Does this seem ok? Would you make any changes?
