Hello Experts!

I'm heading to Japan this March. Was wondering if my travel plan requires me to purchase 7-14 days of JR Pass.

DAY 1 - HANEDA TO ITO
DAY 3 - ITO TO TAKAYAMA
DAY 4 - TAKAYAMA TO OSAKA
DAY 6 - OSAKA TO NIKKO
DAY 8 - NIKKO TO TOKYO
DAY 9 to 12 - TOKYO AREA + might travel to HAKUBA for snowboarding

Thank you for the advice!

Hi there,

It kinda depends on whether you go to Hakuba or not. In case you stay in Tokyo, then the 7 day JR Pass would be the better option. By using it from day 3-9 you'd cover all the important parts and make very good savings at the same time.

I hope you find this useful,
Daniel
