Rugby World Cup - reserving seats

Planning to travel from Tokyo to Kyoto then Kobe and into Hiroshima within a week during the Rugby World Cup in September. I understand I can’t reserve seats until I arrive. We will be arriving 3days before we intend to travel. Is there any chance we won’t be able to reserve our seats because the trains are full on the days we intend to travel? Many thanks in advance. Hi David,

I hope to attend the RWC2019 myself :)

As for train tickets, you should have no issue getting train tickets on these routes. Trains depart every 10 minutes on average and carry up to 1.400 seats each. Make the reservations on the day that you arrive and I'm 100% sure you'll be able to get to these cities.

Kind regards,
Daniel
