Hello. I was wondering about luggage sizes. I will be using the JR from Tokyo to Hiroshima and Osaka and back to Tokyo. I'm planning on taking one bag with me. Its bigger than a carry on bag... Is it possible to take it in front of me in train or there isnt enough space? Thank you

Hi there,
That won't be a problem. There is no strictly enforced luggage policy on the JR as long as you don't inconvenience other passengers.
Taking a suitcase with you is no problem, there is limited space in each train car near the last row of seats for about 4 suitcases.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
