Hi I would like to enquire as I realised there are various type of JR pass available however if let said I were to travel from Osaka to Kyoto and in between travel along the JR Kyoto line station, does the JR national pass covered/do I have to purchase separate JR regional passes. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Hi there,
The JR Pass would fully cover travel between Osaka and Kyoto, as well as local travel on the JR Kyoto line itself. No further pass or ticket would be needed for this.
