Can someone else bring me a JR Pass to Japan?

Dear Daniel,

I have the following problem:
I am already in Japan with a "temporary visitor visa". My mother will follow in a few weeks and she bought 2 JR passes for our travels here in Japan.
Can I use the pass she bought in my name, even though I was already in Japan when she bought it back home?
Maybe it is a silly question, but I am a little worried.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Best regards
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Yes, that's certainly possible.

Kind regards,
Daniel
