You can activate the JR Pass upon arrival at Kansai Airport until 23:00.

Had one more question. I intend to use my JRpass from 15th Mar to 21st evening (7 days) and after visiting Osaka-Hiroshima-Kobe-Kyoto-Hakone-Tokyo. I intend to go round Tokyo on 22nd, 23rd and 24th morning need to travel from Shinjuku to Narita. My hotel is just 1.5km from Shinjuku station. What is the best way to go round Tokyo on 22nd and 23rd and travel to airport on Mar24th morning around 6/30am? Are there day passes for going round Tokyo by train? Do you suggest some bus package tours for this? do we get train to ?Narita from Shinjuku at 06/30 on a Sunday morning? Thanks in advance.....regards

It all depends what you'd go and see/visit it Tokyo. It is hard to say without know your plans around Tokyo. In general, a Metro day ticket or JR Tokyo ticket gives good value if you plan on travelling a lot (5+ rides a day).

You can use the Narita Express directly from Shinjuku to Narita Airport.
