Hi Pier San,

A JR Pass could certainly be helpful. Could you give me a general idea of how much time you wish to spend in each place? This would help me find the best option. It would also be very useful if you could tell me from where you will arrive and depart.

Hope to hear from you,
Daniel

HI Daniel,

The following will be the plan :-

Kusatsu - 26-27Dec'14
Yokohama - 28-29 Dec'14
Gotemba - 31Dec'14
Vicinity of shinjuiku, shibuya, Ikebukuro 1-4jan'15

Please advise.

Thank you,
Pier San

Hi Pier San,

Thank you this is much better. A JR Pass would be helpful if you come from Tokyo and travel to Kusatsu and from there back. If you come from Kyoto/Osaka however than it would be more economic.

Enjoy the new year in Japan!
Daniel
