Hi
my wife and son will be travelling to Osaka and spending 8 nights ( 9 days) between Osaka/Nar/Kyoto
I am thinking of buying two 4 days western region pass for each of them activating one on arrival of Osaka and the 2nd on the 5th day. My question is that am I able to do that?
If not, can you please advise what I should do.

Hi there,
You could but I would advise buying normal tickets for this route. Travel between Osaka, Nara and Kyoto is very low if you use local trains and any kind of pass would require more travel in order to make savings.
If you wish to check ticket prices, you can use www.hyperdia.com
Hope this helps,
Daniel
