Hi,

Hope you're having a good day!

I wanted some help with planning my travels within Japan for the below places spread over a week (April 6-12, 2018).

In Tokyo, we will be covering the following places -
Kabukicho
Tokyo Skytree
Tsukiji (Honganji Temple and Fish Market)
Asakusa
Roppongi
Shibuya

We may do a day at Hakone National Park for views of Mt Fuji and possibly some car track time!

We're traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto, and back to Tokyo before flying out.

In Kyoto, we will be covering the following places -
Gion
Kinkakuji
Kiyomizu
Fishimi Inari
Arashiyama
Nishiki Market

Please let me know what travel passes make sense to cover these places.

Thank you in advance for your time!

Best,
Shernaza.

Hello Shernaza,

A 7 day JR Pass would make sense if you can travel from Tokyo to Kyoto and back to Tokyo. Locally you can look at using Tokyo Metro day passes or Kyoto day passes for the bus to supplement your travel.

For travel to Fuji see:

Hope this helps,
Daniel
