I have plan to visit Japan next year in April with my sisters, can we use the JR Pass for the below trips:
9 arr at Tokyo from Jakarta
10 by train to Osaka
11 Osaka
12 Kyoto
13 Nara
14 Alpine tour, to Kanazawa
15 Kanazawa
16 Shirakawa-go, to Takayama
17 Takayama, to Tokyo
18 Tokyo
19 Hakone, to Kawaguchi
20 Kawaguchi
21 Tokyo
22 Yokohama
23 fly back to Jakarta

Hi there,
First off, you can use the JR Pass to travel to most of these places and will cover about 95% of your trip when talking about distace.
That said, there are some area's that will need additional travel. These are:
The Alpine route, the route itself is not covered.
Travel to/from Shirakawa-go. The bus to and from Shirakawa-go is not included in the JR Pass.
Hakone/Kawaguchiko, there are no JR lines in this area and other local travel is required. For more details see our Fuji blog post.
