Hello there,
Somehow part of your question was lost, I've posted it below.
*I am staying at the Mitsui Garden hotel, Ueno and will be traveling to Kyoto, what would your advice be for travel there?
I thank you for any advice you can share with me, I am from a small Island in Hawai'i and I am a bit nervous. We plan to take the Skyline from Norita to Ueno station and get a Suica card or similar for travel in Tokyo ( or alternative advice?) We arrive 6/15 stay in Tokyo until 6/19, go to Kyoto on 6/19 stay until 6/22, go to Hiroshima on 6/22 until 6/24, go to Fukuoka on 6/24 until flying out on 26th in Fukuoka.

Traveling in Japan is very relaxed and convenient, there's no need to worry about it. Even if you can from a place where train travel may be rare or not existent. For travel Ueno - Kyoto, I would recommend traveling from Ueno station by local train to Tokyo station, you can get on the Shinkansen (bullet trains) there, departing directly for Kyoto. I would also recommend a JR Pass for your travel, as it will allow you to make some small savings during your travel and it will serve as your one ticket for all your travel.
Happy travels,
Daniel
