Hi, I'm wondering if you still cover the twilight express? And how much is it?
And How can I travel from Hokkaido to Osaka? Is there a direct access or do I have to transfer from somewhere else?
Thank you very much

Hi there,
I am afraid that the twilight express has been retired and no longer is in operation between Tokyo - Sapporo. Its somewhat sad news but you can now use the Hokkaido Shinkansen instead between Tokyo - Shin-Hakodate.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
Thank you very much.
I am planning a trip from May 5 to May 16. But I'm not sure how long does the traveling time take? Google maps says it takes 11 hours to go from Tokyo to Sapporo via rail and suggests two transfers.
Also If I want to go to Naoshima Island, where would you suggest that I can find accomodate?
Arrive in: Tokyo
Day1- Tokyo- Sapporo
Day 2 Sapporo- Osaka
Day 3-5 Osaka
Day 5 Osaka- Okayama- Naoshima
Day 6 Okayama - Takamatsu
Day 7Okayama- Nagoya
Day 8 Nagoya
Day 9 Nagoya- Kyoto
Day 10 Kyoto
Day 11 Kyoto- Tokyo
Hi again!
Traveling from Tokyo - Sapporo using the Hokkaido Shinkansen is about 7 hours.
I would stay in Takamatsu and from there use a ferry to Naoshima. This way you see a bit of Shikoku as well :)
Hope this helps,
Daniel
