HI guys

i have travel plan on this july, but im wondering about using JR PASS
It's my first time travel to japan by myself,

I got 3 questions for discuss

My plan is arrived in tokyo stay for 3 days (travel around shibuya, shinjuku, asakusa )
1. can i use JR pass within thoose city?

Than move to kyoto for 2 days

than move to osaka return to kyoto

than kyoto move to tokyo
flight to korea from narita
2. is it any train go to narita airport as well by using JR pass ?

  1. is it worth by using JR pass or normal ticket?

Hi there,

Let's dig right into your questions.

1.) The JR Pass is good for all local JR lines in Tokyo, these can be used to see most of the city including Shinjuku and Shibuya. Asakusa unfortunately does not have a JR station.

2.) The JR Pass can be used on the Hikari Shinkansen to Kyoto and back to Tokyo. The price of a return Tokyo - Kyoto, is about the same as a 7 day JR Pass so it is well worth getting one if you use it for any additional travel. You can also use the JR Pass on the Narita Express between Tokyo and Narita Airport
