takayama to kanazawa via inotani and toyama

hellow so i want to use the jr pass to go from takayama to kanazawa.

I want to take the train from 07.40 from takayama and i will arive at INOTANI with the JR Takayama Line for INOTANI, than there will be a change o f5 minutes and from INOTANI i will take JR Takayama Line for TOYAMA to TOYAMA and there i will change a train to kanazawa.

My question is now , the change at inotani is this a other train? or is this the same train and i dont need to change at inotani for the train to toyama??

Like you, for me it is not shown if it is the same train or not. It could be that the train conductor will change and you can stay on the same train. Or, the routes between Toyama and Takayama simply end at Inotani, and you'll need to switch. According to the route though, such as listed on here, Inotani is the last station of that route, starting at Gifu and passing through Takayama. Inotani is a very small station with only one platform. It is a very minor issue in any case, and there is only a 5 minute wait at the station.
