Sufficient time for NEX?

Hi,

My flight is scheduled to arrive at Narita at 3:40pm. We have airbnb booked for Tofukuji. I am opting to take the 6:15 or 6:48 to Shinagawa, then transfer to Kyoto/Tofukuji. Do you think allowing around 3 hours is enough to go through customs, pick up JR rail pass and get to the station to take the NEX?

Thank you!

Hello

As reference:
We arrived in Narita at 2:30 pm. Migration, take our bags and dispatched them (Kuroneko), exchanged the JR Pass and issued the tickets to Shinagawa / Kyoto. We boarded at 15:40 at the NEX train in the same floor, transferring in Shinagawa and arrived in Kyoto before 8pm for dinner. Does this help?

Good trip

Hi there,

Most people navigate Narita Airport in 40-60 minutes. Extremely crowded periods aside, you should have enough time :)

It sounds like I could look for earlier time on the Hyperdia schedule. Thank you!
