Hi,

We will be travelling 19/4-26/4/2016 as follows,

  1. 19/4 Arr TYO Narita - Hotel in ikebukuro
  2. 20/4 Explore Toyko - Ueno / Tsukiji Market ,etc
  3. 21/4 TYO to Nagano - overnite in Kuroyon Royal Hotel
  4. 22/4 Alpine Route - overnite in Toyama
  5. 23/4 Gokayama - Ainokura Village and Shirakawago Ogimachi Village - overnite in Toyama
  6. 24/4 Toyama to Osaka Station
  7. 25/4 Osaka to Kobe - Kyoto - Uji - Osaka
  8. 26/4 To Kansai airport by Airport Limo

With the itinerty isn't worth purchasing Horuriku Arch Pass?

Can I use the Horuriku Arch Pass for Tokyo and Osaka Metro also?

Thanks
Sue

Hi Sue,

For this route I would simply buy normal tickets. You will be traveling one way Tokyo - Osaka be it using a longer scenic route. A JR Pass or Hokuriku Pass would work if you returned to Tokyo after Osaka.

The Hokuriku Arch pass is not valid on any metro or subway.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for yr reply.

But can we still purchase Tateyama Kurobe option ticket (one way) @¥9000 if no Hokuriku Arch pass?

Regards
Sue
