Hi there,

I'm wondering if I would require a 14 day Japan Rail pass for this itinerary that I have planned for my honeymoon in December. Would it be more economical to take this pass or can you suggest other alternatives?

day1 KIX > Osaka
day2-3 Osaka
day4 Osaka > Kinosaki
day5 Kinosaki > Kyoto
day6-7 Kyoto
day8 Kyoto > Hakone
day9 Hakone > Kawaguchiko
day10 Kawaguchiko > Tokyo
day11-13 Tokyo
day14 Tokyo > NRT/HND

Thank you in advance!

Hi there,

I looked at what normal tickets prices would cost compared to the price of a JR Pass and recommend buying normal tickets for this itinerary. The most expansive parts are travel to Kinosaki and Tokyo but these together cost less than the JR Pass would.

The rest looks very good!
