Hi Daniel,

The new Shinkansen from Tokyo to Sapporo will pass Hakodate or not? Or it is a different route from Tokyo to Hakodate?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi there,

The Shinkansen will stop at Shin-Hakodate station. From there local trains run to Hakodate station itself. Shin-Hakodate is quite far away from Hakodate, local trains will take around 15-20min between both station.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
